NLDB starts selling silage for dairy farmers, through its farms and sales centers. This initiative was taken to support the dairy farmers having the aim of increasing their milk production. The launch was held at the Melsiripura farm, Kurunegala with the participation of Hon. Deputy minister for Agriculture and Livestock Namal Karunarathne on today (20-12-2024). The Director General of Department of Animal production and Health, Dr. Hemali Kothalawala, Provincial Director of the North Western province of Department of Animal production and Health, The Chairman, Deputy Chairman, General Manager, several staff members of NLDB and large number of dairy farmers were participating the event.
